VEALAC's purpose is to promote the frienship, the mutual interest, the Oriental and Western cultures, the sport and the recreation of the Vietnamese Employees of Los Angeles County. 
Every year, VEALAC sponsors several events to raise fund for charity such as Food for Homeless at Skid Row Los Angeles, Haiti earthquake (2010), Orphanage Education Fund (2007), etc.
One of VEALAC’s goals for 2010 – 2012 is to set up scholarships for orphanage in Viet Nam.

TET 2011 Celebration

VEALAC celebrated the lunar new year on Friday, January 21, 2011.
 
The large turnout was not only comprised of families and friends of VEALAC members; representatives from various County associations and community members in the Los Angeles area attended as well.
 
Thank you very much to all who attended. Hope to celebrate with you again next year.
 
Also, heartfelt thanks to members and friends who donated their time and effort to help make this event a success. VEALAC could not have done it without you!
